Playstaion 3 video output

I recently bought spiderman 3 and nhl on ps3, but when i try and play them it comes up with an error code and it says something about the video output?? it only happens with these two games

Where did you buy them? If on ebay then it might have come from another country where the region code for playing them could be diffrent to that of you ps3.

Regarding your problem, check your video output settings. If you have a HD tv make sure its set to the right output.

How do I get the up-to-date rosters for nhl 12 for my ps3
1) Make sure your PS3 is connected to the internet
2) Insert your NHL '12 disc and go to the main menu
3) Scroll down to "XBox Live" option. Select it.
4) Scroll down to "My Online NHL 12". Select it.
5) Scroll down to "Download Rosters". Select it.
6) Find the most recently dated roster and select it. Your roster will be downloaded.

with the blue ray error thing could be because the CD thinks your trying to copy it, or yes theres and Or, in the option menu and look at your movie or BR settings, if that doesn't work i dont know what to tell you sorry dude!

Try using a different hard drive. The reader arm may be stuck on the platter inside your hard drive so it can't fully boot. Thanks.

Some gmes won't play.
Ok. Do you have a NTSC system?

Some PAL games will only run on standard and some will only run in HD and some will run on both if the PS3 is NTSC. The PAL games output at (576i/p) while the NTSC outputs at (480i/p). So honestly, I think that is your problem. You have a NTSC system and PAL games. If you do not have a HDTV then you will need to exchange those games for the NTSC version. Sorry for the bad news. It's not Sony's fault, it's how the game developers coded the games.

NHL 08 won't load
Your TV does not have the same requirements as the Sony PS3 Console. The PS3 Uses Standard Def. and High Def. Blu-Ray Display. You need Blu-Ray enabled on your Television. Hope this helped.

i would report this to the manufacture there shouldnt be a problem, see if they will replace the game incase its the game if not tell them you demand a replacement console, or you could just try your luck with a gaming repair shop, the practically can do anything
