This one has got me baffled. The main drum supports on my Hoover H130E failed as a result of corrosion - a common fault as they are alloy attached to a stainless steel drum - electrolysis does its worst. I had to dismantle the machine to effect the repair. Prior to this fault the thing worked perfectly. Now it seems to have a fault with the way it works through a programme. Basically, it often does not initially take in wayer although the drum starts to agitate. Eventually it will take a bit in but nothing like enough. Eventually it pumps out but then shuts down - all lights off and no spin. I have checked the brushes - they are absolutely fine. Moreover, the pressure switch does not appear to have any effect. Even with the flexible tube removed which should cause the machine to overfill, it barely takes in any water. All hoses are connected and there is plenty of pressure - no blocks or kinks. If you select the rinse cycle, it pumps out and then shuts down as above. If you select the spin cycle, it pupmps out, agitates but no spin. Every now and again it works through a programme ok but this is now very rare. Everything is connected up ok. Any ideas?
Check to see if theres any dry solder joints on the main board,or the board is probably faulty.hope this helps

Hi,
When my washer did that, I found that the shocks that hold the tub were bad...
Check out this tip I wrote about the noise and vibration that front load washers can make..

Hotpoint WF530 washing machine. Programme does not complete. Water does not empty. Water does not pump out (drain). Intermittent problem.
Is this the main memory programme board?
