Question about Plantronics Explorer 320 Wireless Headset

How do i connect phone with m2300 ear piece

Found old ear piece and now need to pair up with works phone.
ear piece is plantronics m2300
phone is nokia 6233

I have the same problem. I tried to pair up Plantronics M2300 with Nokia E71 and N72 and nothing. It did work with my mom's SE W910i - so I know that the M2300 works...

Begin with Headset turned off. Press button for 6 sec. Release button when Light Indicator flashes blue and red. Headset is ready to pair with Bluetooth device. Use your device?s menu to enter pairing mode and select ?320 Plantronics? on the display. When asked for passkey, enter ?0000.?

Take the bluettoth hold the button until solid and when phone asks for password put in 0000

I have a plantronics 240 that I want to pair up with a samsung dart, but it want to pair up with other phones and not the ear piece

You want to make sure that other bluetooth devices are not interfering with the connection, and it sounds like that is what's happening.

Check the phone manual for instructions on how to do it then remove the phone battery, if possible, for a few seconds and reconnect (resets the phone). Then re-pair the headset to the phone following the instructions on the this link for the Plantronics Explorer 240.

My ear piece keeps losing its pairing

Please remember that newer phones are like small computers, so they may become corrupt over time and you may need to reset them every so often. Simply turn your phone off and remove again the battery for a few seconds, then replace the battery and turn it back on again. Purge from the phone any pairing information for your Voyager Pro headset and pair it again with your phone, following the instructions on the link below for the Plantronics Voyager Pro.

How do I sync my replacement ear piece

When joining (or pairing) a Plantronics bluetooth headset to another device a lot depends on the other device. Assuming that you know the necessary steps of your phone, PC or other device for connecting a bluetooth device, all Plantronics headsets pretty much follow a set pairing procedure for connectivity. This one is for the Discovery 975:

1 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone.
2 Turn the earpiece on. Press and hold the call control button until the indicator flashes red/white.
3 Use the commands on your other device to locate and select your earpiece. 9xx Plantronics.
4 If prompted for the PIN code or Passkey, enter 0000.

Pairing is successful when the indicator on your earpiece flashes white.

Note If your phone supports Secure Simple Pairing (SSP), you will not need to enter a PIN code or Passkey.

Hi,

This would usually happens only, if your BATTERY present is the BT headset is completely dry or worn out..

Try charging your headset for another 8 hours and try again, If its not charging you have to take it to plantronics service center to change the battery,

But mostly after charging for 8 hours, it would work.

Set up bluetooth devise

Go to the setting menu of your phone, select connectivity to choose bluetooth, Select Paired devices but make sure your ear piece device is power on, that is the bluetooth it on, search for it, then paired your phone with it. that is all.

Don't know the code to pair with my altel phone I put my plantronics ear piece on discovery mode and the phone wants the code, I don't know the code to put in so it will pair with it.

0000 is the code, usually.

Connect pantronics 320 to Iphone

I have a 300 series Plantronics and it only functions if I unpair and repair with the I phone each time I want it to work. The AT & T technician tells me that the one I have has old software in it and that is all it will ever do. It also does not "beep" in the ear when it connects like it did when I had it paired to my Motorola L7. That makes it hard to know if it is connected even though the I phone says it is paired with the Plantronics ear piece even if the ear piece is turned off.
