I was recently trying to program a Universal Remote for my VCR and it the VCR went into some kind of safe mode. I have tried to unplug, turn on/off, and tried to opperate w/ the origonal remote and i am getting the same "SAFE" message on the display of the VCR. If you can let me know how to fix this problem please let me know. Thank you and I look forward to hearing back from you soon. Thank you -Mark
Hello Mark352, What model of VCR do you have? is it a GE In the mean time try this: Unplug it from the wall for about a minute and then plug it in again. If this does not work, hold the VCR button down for 5-8 seconds this works on some units. Let me know if this works for you. Thank you,
