More than likely the antenna has gone bad on your phone or you may just have a bad sim card. Try borrowing a sim card from another phone that uses the same service you have and power up your phone with it. Then try it out in different places to see if you get good signal or not. If its good then you just need to replace your sim card and don't forgot to give back the borrowed sim. If its the phone/antenna then its time to replace the phone.

Call Barring - Enables you to restrict or bar certain or all types of calls to and from your mobile phone, i.e. outgoing calls, outgoing international calls, incoming calls. Barring is activated with a personal code.
Call barring is a mobile phone feature that allows the user to set certain prohibitions on incoming or outgoing calls. This is an effective means to prevent the phone being used to make expensive international or premium rate calls, particularly when the phone is to be used by people other than the subscriber.
Many companies that provide handsets for business use now employ call barring as a security measure, to control their use and restrict calls to pre-approved numbers. The user's personal code must be used to activate this feature.
How do I get it? Contact your local Service Provider. You will need a four digit barring code. Initially this will be 0000. You should create a personal barring code for security. Please consult your cellphone's instruction manual.
What does it cost? This service is free.
Also you can deactivate it from your cell phone.. Different cell phones have different setting functions,
You can try these out. It's the general way to deactivate call barring (NOKIA) .
Follow the below instruction:
Go to Menu, Enter settings, Scroll to Security, You will see call barring on that list, Click on it,and scroll to last option and you will see cancel call barring.
Your cell phone might not be the same with these functions, but the procedure are aways the same..
The phone's internal antenna is broken or jammed. Thus it is preventing the phone for getting reception. In this case contact the dealer for the Fix. I think you surely are under Warrenty ( as you told you have it for just a couple of months ).
The phone has no network. It can be caused because the phone's network service is being blocked or being hampered. For this you need to contact the service provider.
Sir, I think now you can understand the ways to get past this problem.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.
Have you checked your sim card in another phone? Does it work? If yes, was this phone bought new or second hand? If second hand there is a possiblity that it is barred? Lost and stolen phones can be barred by networks (in UK anyway) and have their IMEI's blocked on all networks to prevent use.
Other than that have you tried a manual search in the networks menu/ Does it pick up anything? If nothing then the phone could be faulty? Hope that helps?
