Question about Optoma Projector Multimedia Projector
My Toshiba M35X laptop will not project the screen to the wall using a new Optoma EP716 projector. I've followed all the directions in hooking it up, including not cutting on the computer until after the projector has been turned on (and tried it the other way just to check and see if that would work). I'm trying to project a powerpoint presentation on the wall. The projector goes through the searching mode, but doesn't detect my laptop.
Change the VGA cable...the cabel you are trying now may work with normal LCD moniter...but LCd tv required good sheilded cable..please try changing the vga cable..i tried with teh VGA cable comming along with BENQ lcd monitor works fines with almost all laptops..check teh screen resolution also.
1024*768 screen refresh ration 60 Hz..
Good luck..

-toggle the laptop display using the FN keys and F5 I believe. -lower laptop resolution to 800 x 600 -look in laptop display properties for lcd or external display settings, see if it (external crt) has to be enabled on the laptop first.
