Audio okay i bought the easycam and installed with cd and everything went fine... but when i record and play back video i cant hear anything am i doing something wrong? am i missing an important part?

It sounds to me you have manufacture defect, you said it worked fine for two hours and then you ran into problems, if there were issues with the cd's they would not have played. I would do yourself a favor and return it for exchange or for a different unit.

If everything is grayed out in the audio devices property in the control panel, that means there's a problem with your audio driver, first step I would take is to reboot your machine, hopefully it will come back.

If that fails, most Dell computers come with a Application CD, put the CD in the CD rom drive and have it reload the audio drivers back in.

Also make sure your speakers are plugged into the green port on back of your computer

it sounds like EZ A C did not get the audio or EZ put it in a format tha Itunes Cant play. download VLC media player and install it. open the file with VLC and se if it will play it. It will play just about anything it has most of the codex's need to play anything too. if it doesent play it then something is wrong with the input to EZ A C you might have the input muted.

This happens because the video card has hdmi output. Since hdmi output can carry audio signals also, the audio driver gets disabled. Uninstall audio driver and video driver both, install the video driver, and then install audio driver. after installing the audio driver, in playback and recording devices choose choose the audio output device you purchased along with the computer. This should fix the issue.

Revert back for any clarifications.

The media converter that you used to transfer the video to the mp3 player has a checkbox that is usually selected by default that says "Synchronize audio" It is all too easy to accidentally uncheck this option. Open the RCA Video Converter, go into Properties, and make sure that this box is checked. RCA once had a link to an updated version of the RCA Video Converter, but all the links seem to be broken right now - you may have to call them if you have lost your installation CD.

:) swap your blue with your blue/wht or vice versa.. (behind the radio) this WILL fix your problem..

The Camera has no speaker therefore you can't hear anything. I presume that when you play the recording back through your computer you should hear it through the computer's speakers.

i have a mac and UA25 and there are no problems.

in the control panel check sound and audio devices option- audio-default playback device- default recording device. Check whether sigma tel audio is present by default. if not then try changing to dafault audio devices both play back and recording options.Restart computer to check sound is heard this time.. all the best !

Does it play back professionally prerecorded tapes okay? Does that VCR have a HiFi stereo option? What is the brand name and model number of the unit?
