Door Lock As a result of my 1 year old son tampering with the buttons on the machine, the door has gone into a permanent lock mode. I have tried everything including leaving the machine for hours, re-washing, turning on/off and taking the plug out but nothing is curing the problem. Can anybody help with the solution. I don not have a manual either.

Right ther are 3 solutions that u can do 1)take your drain hose place it low to the ground into a bucket this should reset your pressure switchn if not goto solution 2 2mark were the cable is with black marker in case u need to put it back were it was if this does not work ull need to unplug your washer for this 1 undo the screws at the back top to take off your lid now if there is a cable to your motor u need to take a small black clip of were the cable goes into a holder u wont be able to c it ull have to feel for it once uve got this of click the cable up once and once done check the door to c if it will open now do this until it opens if not goto solution 3 3)if u feel do the front of the washer on the inside of the washer u need to be on the left hand side were the door latch goes into the catch by feeling down u will feel were the cable goes into this assembly godown slightly more and pull up the door should open on its own without having to push the switch let me know how it goes i am a hotpoint specialist m8
