Top left hand corner about 1 square foot is fuzzy with ghost images. tried auto convergence with no success. the rest of the screen is perfect problem free. problem started after watching dvd
If the colors will not line up in one corner of a standard projection set, it usually means that one of the convergence output IC's has burned out and needs to be replaced. This is very common. If you do not have experience replacing parts and soldering PC boards, then the defective IC should be replaced and the convergence circuits realigned by a qualified tech familiar with convergence circuits in projection sets.

I have replaced the convergence I/Cs with no luck, I did notice that the I/Cs do not get warm at all, So do I have a power problem? When I select auto convergence it goes through its paces but all the colour blocks are distorted and not aligned at all, Can anyone tell me the maunual convergence alignment proceedure or have a circuit and/or manual.
I am not a TV tecnician however I am a communications tech and have no problem with soldering etc.
Thanks in Advance
