Hello guys hope somebody can help me,my sony tv
dont have sound, can i still connect the souround sounds
on it,and would sound come out? pls help dont have money to fix it...thanks
Hi There,
Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it sounds like your sound module or IC needs replacement. Hooking the surround sound won't help because you have no Audio Output. I hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

I need to know the quality of the speakers on the TV. Try unplugging it from the speakers on the TV and plug it into the souround sound speakers only and see if it plays differently. Double check your sourround sound and makes sure you did not reverse a wire.
I'll assume you mean you want audio from the TV to enter the unnamed 'rca dvd and souround system ' as that is where audio should all converge.
For this purpose you should have an RCA audio cable pair running from the FIXED AUDIO L and R outputs to any available input on the unnamed audio electronics. If you use(d) the VARIABLE AUDIO outputs the TV's volume control would affect the sound at the electronics end.
u can connect using special cables...u must have a TV out slot in the laptop
Wireless i am nto sure...as TVs dont have softwares that can be configured to receive signal using wireless systems, unless ur TV and laptop is connected thru some connecting medium(a converter box/ADS instant DVD maker etc)
Double check your TV settings and ensure that you have your audio set for internal and not external. The external setting would only be used if you have external speakers connected.
find the audio output jacks. Should be one red and one white, that say output by it. You can get the RCA Audio Jacks that plug in to the tv audio output jacks to your receiver or stereo INPUT jacks.
Surround sound will come from the speakers from your surround system. So if you have it connected through HDMI 1 select that option from the source button on the remote control. If you have it connected through Scart 1 then select AV1 from the source button. It also best to turn the volume from the TV to minimum so that the sound only comes from the surround speakers.
I have the Sony Bravia KDL-46S4100. The high-picthed hiss drives me insane. I have a work around but not a fix. Go into your TV's menu and find BACKLIGHT. Adjust it from 1-9 with the house quiet and find what frequency of the hiss is the least annoying.
Sony Bravia high pitch hiss hissing sound high frequency
i dont know if you have found a solution yet but this is what i did i bought a optical digital audio cable that is supposed to connect to your direct tv reciver but you connect it to your tv and to the rca and there will be sound
