Question about LG LRBN20510WW Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
My LG Fridge is not cooling however the bottom freezer is working fine. I dont know what is the problem. I made sure nothing is blocking the vents. I set the tempreture at high in the fridge, and still not cooling. There was a thunder storm yesterday and i dont know if that had anything to do with this problem. Thanks.
Where to look for the defrost timer on the LG top freezer modle

Is your freezer fan blowing... condenser clean.. condenser fan blowing?

One of three thing could cause this problem:
1. The defrost timer relay is defective ( most of the time this is the root cause).
2. The refridgerator thermostat is defective.
3. The freezer defrost heater defective.

Sound like your Defrost Timer is gone. Had the same problem a while ago, after thunderstorm and electricity outage.

have moved the fridge and pluged in straght away freezer working fridge not. could you please help
exactly the same problem..fan works, but coils are frosted. its like its not defrosting
First problem was that the temp control in the fridge compartment would have NO number illuminated for the fridge temp and the 5,6 and 7 illuminated for the freezer temp. If unplugged for a moment and then plugged in again, both fridge and freezer temp control would each have a temp number illuminated. Then it would revert back to above.
Now freezer still works, but fridge is like 60 degrees and warm.
I cleaned the dust off the coils, is it a faulty circuit board on the back behind the plastic plate? You know the one that's like half the price of the whole refrigerator? Thanks in advance.
