I bought a used playstation 2 with controllers. when I play the games, the vibration function doesn't work on mine, but will on another persons unit. what am I doing wrong?
Its possible the connector on the PS2 has come loose on the inside of the unit. The other possibilty is that the connector on the end of the cable of your controller is dirty or loose. If its just the controller connector, try taking a cue tip and some rubbing alcohol and cleaning the connector on both the controller end and the ps2 end, just be sure that you don't turn on the PS2 until the connectors are completely dry. If you use rubbing alcohol it should take less than a couple mins for the alcohol to evaporate
