Need more information, does the console power on to the menu or does it turn on and not do anything?

If it turns on without going to a menu, I would turn it on and let it sit for a min, give it time to do what its going to do if anything, then double tap the reset button and see what it does.

I would also say that Nintendo usually will fix these types of problems if you ship them off to them for warrenty work

Display problems while playing Virtual Console games

If you are experiencing display issues (dim, blank or half-blank screen, ghosted image, etc.) with a Virtual Console game while using the Component Video Cable, please read the following:
Some Virtual Console games default to displaying 240 lines of video. Some HD TV's are unable to display a signal with only 240 lines. Try the steps below to set the Wii to output 480 lines of video, which may solve the problem:
  1. While on the Wii Channel Menu (main screen of the Wii), connect a Nunchuk to Wii Remote.
  2. Select the Virtual Console game from the Wii menu, then select "Start" to begin the game.
  3. When the game starts, press the Home button on the Wii Remote. (In many games, the music can be heard when the game starts.)
  4. Select "Operations Manual" from the Home menu.
  5. Press the Z + A + 2 Button simultaneously (the Z Button is on the Nunchuk). A sound will be heard if the button combination has been entered correctly.
  6. Close the Home menu. The game should now display correctly. Note: You will not have to do this the next time you play, as the Wii console will remember these settings.
If the Virtual Console game is still not displaying properly, but all other games work fine, please call 1-800-255-3700 so that we may assist you further.

To connect two wii consoles

Hi arbazfar,

First off, you will need a Wi-Fi connection to hook-up your consoles.
- Select the Wii logo (lower-left corner of the main menu)
- Select "WII SETTINGS" , then "INTERNET OPTIONS" option , then "CONNECTION SETTINGS".
- Select one of the available selections and confirm the "WIRELESS CONNECTION" option.
- Select the "SEARCH FOR ACCESS POINT" ( the Wii console will now look for the best local Wi-Fi connections available).
- Pick your preferred access point and then save your settings (Wii will then test the connection and may ask you to perform an update - just press "YES")
-Go to the "ADDRESS BOOK" (from the Wii main menu under the Wii Message Board). You should see a Friend Code on Page 1. Share your code with a friend you wish to connect to.
-Once you already have the code, press "REGISTER" in the Address Book, select the WII OPTION and enter the Friend code.
For more readings regaring this matter, you may go to the attached link: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/getOnline/index.jsp
All the best to you. Hope to hear positive results.

If i lost my book how do i connected my game to the internet

Let's get you connected!

Power on your Wii console and press the A Button on the Wii Remote to reach the Wii main menu. Use the Wii Remote to select the "Wii" button.

Now, select "Wii Settings" to access the "Wii System Settings" menu

Using the arrow on the right side of the screen, scroll to page two and select "Internet."

Select "Connection 1: None"

Click on "Wireless Connection" and then "Search for an Access Point."

Select "OK" and the Wii will display all the wireless networks it finds.

Select "OK," "Save Settings," and then "Yes."
The Wii console will run a connection test with your wireless network when the test is completed.

I bought a wii console but i cant play cheap games, i only need original games. A friend lent me one original and licensed game(Pro evolution soccer 2008), i only have "Wii sports", in my city do...

Hi markitos,

Original games should work unless you are trying to play a game from a different region, for example playing a PAL game on a NTSC console, check on pro evolution soccer to see what it states then check your wii sports and see what region its from make sure they are both the same. Otherwise the pro evolution soccer could be counterfeit.

Oliver

I sync my wii remote in, everything is fine in the main menu. Then when i try and play a game, the wii remote stops its connection and i can't sync it again.

Should try to take out the battery's put new one's in and see if that helps, also make sure the sensor bar is visible to the remote it self.
You can try to have a friend or buy a new remote to see if it is the remote it self. You might want to take it in or make sure the sensor bar is plugged in all the way and change the sensitivity and lining in Wii settings.

How do i get wii shop chanel

Hello

To get to wii shop channel first you need to configure your system
Configure your Nintendo Wii for a wireless Internet connection. The only way to access the Wii Shop is by having an Internet connection and a wireless router. The Nintendo Wii has a built-in wireless router that can pick up signals from wireless Internet connections. Make sure that your wireless Internet router is close enough so that the Nintendo Wii can pick up a signal.

Loading Wii Shop;
Use your Wii remote to select the Wii Shop from the main Wii channel menu. The Wii Shop is located in the top right-hand corner of the screen. If your Internet access is not set up yet, then you will be prompted and automatically brought to the Internet Configuration menu. Once your Internet is set up, you will either be brought back to the Wii Shop or the main channel menu.

Navigating the Main Menu
Look at the main Wii Shop menu. Here you will be given two main options with a couple of general options at the bottom of the screen. The first option is to look for games for the virtual console. The Virutal Console contains games from past systems like Turbo Grafx 16, NEOGEO, NES, Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64. Once you have loaded the virtual console menu, you can search games by most popular title, new titles, system, genre or price. When you have found a game that you are interested in, press the "A" button to see a more detailed description with a couple of screen shots, and find out how many Wii Points the game costs.

Wii Points
Purchase Wii Points directly through the Wii Shop by using a credit or debit card. You will use the Wii remote to point and select all of the card holder information. The minimum amount of Wii Points you can buy is 1,000 for $10, so if you want a game for 700 Wii Points, then you will have 300 points left over for future purposes. Instead of using a credit card through the Wii store, you can purchase a Wii Points card at a local retailer. These cards come in different point values, and 100 points represents a dollar.

Downloading the Software
Finalize your game purchase by confirming how many Wii Points will be deducted from your account. Once you have done this, the game download will begin. While it only takes a few minutes to download, you can see the progress by watching a Mario character jump and hit a brick. Once he has reached the third brick, your download is complete. From there, you can continue to shop in the Wii Shop or play the game.

Wii Ware
Check out the other option that is labeled as "Wii Ware." Wii Ware is a lot like the Virtual Console, but everything created here is new and original for the Wii. You can get updated channels like the new Photo Channel or get exclusive Wii Shop games like "Midnight Pool" and "Family Table Tennis." The games here actually are interactive Wii games, and you can get the full game for a lot cheaper than a new Wii game from a store.
