Westinghouse WSF6602XR dishwasher gives error code i30 - flood protection. woould appreciate advise on how to fix. thanks in advance
Not familiar with this particular model but the indication is for water in the very bottom of your unit. Either due to a leak or a faulty switch. A quick leak check is to tip your unit to the side and see if water dribbles out of the bottom. Side needs to come off and either find and fix the leak or replace the switch itself. If its just a leak and you tip the water out it will actually work till the leak fills up again.

SOURCE: how do i fix error code 30?
AEG Favorit 40850 i30 error - this is the anti-flood error. I did the tipping-over trick, great, but for me, the problem got more and more frequent until the machine would not run. So I took it apart and this is what I found: in the drainage area, next to the water drain, is a sensor. This has been described to me by a dealer as a 'temperature sensor'. I am not sure if this controls the anti-flood system, it may well do, as it is the only one in there. However, the problem is not caused by the sensor itself - around the sensor is a black rubber grommet (seal). In my machine (4 years old) this was badly perished - the rubber had become soft and oily, and about half of it had gone. The sensor itself was covered in oily goo from the grommet. I think that bits of the grommet have been coming off and jamming in the drain, and maybe causing the sensor itself not to work properly. I changed the grommet (£5 part), and it all works great. If you want to do this yourself, follow these instructions:
Good Luck!

emmanuelr is spot on with this advice. The dishwasherr had been idle for a few months so as advised disconnected and reconnected the connection to the water flow meter and job done. My friend you are a scholar and a gentleman thank you so much. You are not an apprentice to me.
SOURCE: how can I reset an i30 (flood control) error?
you have to mopp up any water in the base of the machine. this can be caused by a leak . a sagging pressure pipe to the pressure switch can do it as well. you can tie it up to stop the sag. its at the front behind the plinth area.
SOURCE: Hi. I'm getting an i30
depends on the model. some have a float switch in the base just removing the water from the base will reset it. othr models have alock out valve removing water pressure from the water valve can reset it. although blockages in a side tank lh side can be more complicated.you say its electrolux. aeg have a similar problem where a thin hose from the sump to pressure switch sags . tie up the pipe fixes it.
Hello friend, I appreciate your inquiry!
Based off my understanding your dishwasher is displaying an error code of I30. An I30 error code means this could be an issue with your aqua control. I would suggest performing a reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for at least ten minutes. If you continue to receive an I30 error code after the reset I would recommend having a professional technician out. This will help you avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this information is helpful to you. -Matt
