My 9 y.o. rec'd this camera for Christmas & we can't figure out how to make the flash work, or how to download via USB connection. Photos will download from SD card to PC, but when save option is offered, error message indicates that ea. photo is either corrupted or unable to be processed due to an invalid or unrecognized file extension. The camera came with no software, and my pc automatically uses the Windows XP, or Adobe Photoshop, or Fujifilm photo software to download. HELP!!! What next???

Vistaquest vq-5015 free driver download

You don't need a driver. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Picasa or any other photo cataloging program.
You can download a copy of the manual here.

Camera goes into Shut Down Mode & Flashes the Letter H

Hey sonax,
This H error message means either the film is loaded incorrectly, or there is an internal malfunction in the camera. To determine if the film is loaded incorrectly you should take the film and the batteries out of the camera then reinstall the batteries and try taking a picture without film in the camera. If the camera allows it then the film was loaded incorrectly and I would refer to the camera manual for directions on how to load the film correctly. If the H error message persists then there is most likely an internal malfunction and I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan

Can't get my Cannon zr 90 to work, there's a flashing red light in viewer

yes, I found the manual downloads on Canon's webpage. I wish I could figure out how to transfer my tape videos to a computer. I bought the $50,00 DV-1394 cord and nothing happens--computer doesn't recognize the camera.

This shouldn't be too hard...

I went to the trouble to track down the manual online. For the sake of convenience, I have stored the manual on my own server.

Click HERE to load the manual. It is in PDF format, so you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed in order to view the document. OR you can right-click HERE and save the document to your system and view the file. Save it for future use.

What you need to do is adjust the flash level. The details on the flash level feature are on page 31. There you can see which modes you can adjust the flash level in.

Page 38 explains the dynamics of flash level.

Make sure you try different combinations of settings to get the kind of picture quality you want. Flash is not the only variable to take into consideration when using your camera to get the best image possible. Use the manual to learn about all other features as well.

Good luck and do much expirementation! :)

Fisher price kid tough digital camera Help

I have fixed my friends camera for her. This is how to fix it. Make sure the USB is connected to the computer and the camera. Go to MYCOMPUTER. You should see a Removable disk or Removable drive (E). Double click to open and it brings up a folder. DCIM. Click to open. It says IMAGE. Click to open. All your images should be in that file.

let me know if this worked for you or any one else.
