Voicemail greeting I have a wav. file in my phone, that I want to use as greeting. It has not become apparent as to how to make it my greeting. Even if I record a new greeting, I still do not how to make it my voice mail greeting. Please help

That can not happen voicemail is over the phone on to the phone....you would ahve to download that on to the pc then record it thru the computer speaker on to the phone speaker.

How to record a new greeting

Go to Google Voice.
Click the gear icon at the top right of the Google Voice window and select Settings.
Click the Voicemail & Text tab.
In the 'Voicemail Greeting' section, click Record New Greeting.
Enter the name for the greeting you're going to record and click Continue.
A "Record Greeting" box will appear. Select one of your forwarding phones from the "Phone to ring" drop-down menu.
Click Connect.
Google Voice will call you on the forwarding phone you selected. Pick up the call and record your voicemail greeting when prompted.
Once you've recorded your voicemail greeting, make sure it's selected in the 'Voicemail Greeting' section of your Settings.
Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

HOW DO I CHANGE THE GREETING ON A KX-T7453 PANASONIC CORDED PHONE?

The KX-T7453 phone does not have a message function, you may have an associated voicemail on your system. Try dialing (on the intercom) extension 165 if you do not have a voicemail button. Are you trying to change the greeting for your individual phone or the main greeting people hear when they call your company?
This gets a lot more complicated and you should contact your vendor.

How do I set up voice mail on an iphone

Adding Voicemail for the First Time

Tap the "Phone" button on your iPhone.
Select "Voicemail." The iPhone will prompt you to create a password for accessing your voicemail, then will allow you to record your first greeting.
Click "Save" to set your recording to your voicemail greeting

Recording a New Greeting

Tap the "Phone" button on your iPhone.
Select "Voicemail."
Choose "Greeting > Custom."
Select "Record" and begin recording your voicemail greeting.
Hit "Save" to set your recording to your new voicemail greeting

Can receive and answer calls but greeting announcement is silent.how do I turn on greeting.

Please tell me the model of your phone.However,you can do this with the use of your phone profile i.e from the phone click on it the screw down to the profile then click on it screw to setting or turn setting from there you will be able to get to greeting setting or turn from this step you will be able to activate the turn again .

Changing main voicemail message

This may be specific for my system, but hopefully it helps:

Connect to your voicemail (for us, we can either hit the voicemail button or dial 1650)

Once in, press #6, it will ask for a mailbox number, dial *9998, it will ask for a password (the default is 1234#)

Press 5 to modify messages.

Press 3 to record custom service menus.

It will ask you to pick which menu (1-100). Our day menu is 1, and night is 2. I'm guessing yours will be the same.

From this point, it becomes the same as recording a standard voicemail greeting. It will play the current greeting and you can press 1 to re-record it. Do so, and then press #. Press 2 to accept and you're done!

Hi...u can do this setup by uploading a recorded greeting in wav file format in system audio update form..then assign those dial1,dial2..to multi level auto attendant programming(MLAAP) in voicemail form...from there u can define the destination extension#.

That is for voicemail to email.
Copy, send a wav file as an attachment to email as well as leaving a copy in the phone

Forward, only send voicemail to email address.

Alert, only sends an email to say that you have voicemail, still need to access phone to get vociemail
