3D Creative Smart Card and Station

I have a 3D Creative Smart Card and Station and am using with a PFAFF Creative 2134. Downloaded designs from website, transferred to smart card, and successfully embr. design. Went back to 3D software to transf. another design to smart card. After I click on card, get window showing that designs are loading from card to computer, then software completely locks (not responding). I've unplugged USB and replugged many times using different ports. Uninstalled and reinstalled software and drivers. Still locks. Any ideas?

Try to install the software from the download as its latest version its will prompt you to remove the old version on your computer and follow onscreen instruction you be able to install the software...........

I have loaded the 4D software and have communication with my Husquvarna machine through that. I communicate with my Pfaff through the old 3D software on my computer.

When you purchase the Husqvarna Viking software it comes with a code key called a "Dongle". It plugs into a usb port and "unlocks" the software. You can't just load the software and have it work without the dongle and you cannot just purchase a dongle. That software is about 3 versions old and is not being supported anymore by Viking. Their new software starts at $400 and is called 4D embroidery. Their web site shows what it can do.

I have been having the same problem. I was told that the 4-d software is not compatible with Windows 7.

I have a Pfaff I'm told that my creative smart card station needs a computer with XP operating system.Can window 8 be reverted to XP? Is machine software too old to handle current files?

you cannot go backward but you van change the xp compatibility to win 8
get to the properties section of the smart card station and click on compatibility and change to win 8

I have a 3D/ Pfaff 2170 Creative & I'm using Windows XP. No device found error. I can not transfer the embroidery design to 2170 Pfaff. Help!

Sounds like you don't have the device driver on you computer for the sewing machine. Question: Did it ever work? If it used to work but doesn't now, try using a different cable from the computer to the sewing machine. You can also try rebooting the computer (with the sewing machine connected and powered up) to see if it will locate the machine.

I have a 2144/2170 and new Florini software. I do not know how to transfer a design from the computer to the creative card with a cord and then to the sewing machine. The design is in the autoditizing...

I bought a Ultimate Box and Ultimate Card, Wright the design to it, and then in the machine, I use the Data Manager to select the design (doesn't show the actual name, just dsgn1 or something like that), ok to the warning.

Connect PfaFF Creative 7570 to a PC

The software you need to connect the Pfaff 7570 to the PC and to create your designs is called PC-Designer version 2.2 from Pfaff. You may be able to find a used copy. The software should come with a dongle (special cable) for connecting the machine to the PC. Make sure you have this piece because it will not work with an ordinary cable. Depending on what type of port you have on the PC to connect to, you may also need an adapter since the dongle has an old style connector on the end going to the PC. If you are going to create your own designs, you will also need a storage card which inserts into the machine that you send the designs to. Pfaff makes one, called the creative card. I have also used a generic card meant for the pfaff; the generic card is less expensive and has a greater capacity. You can find many designs online either free or for sale to send from PC to Pfaff as well.

Pfaff 7570 program

I have somewhere that installation diskette (with the old SW version). If I'm not mistaken it was not included with the sewing machine but sold separately with the embrodery arm that we bought together with it some 10 years ago. Email me to [email protected] if you need more help.

Pfaff 7570 creative card

Hi Eva,
You should be able to clear the card by holding down the card key as you turn on the machine. You should then be able to reformat.
