Question about Sony KV-27S42 27" TV
Hi, Most new Sony TVs have a built in self-diagnostic feature. One of the led lights would be blinking. The number of blinks (on/off) is indicative of a code. The code represents a system fault. For example on some versions, 3 blinks indicate diagnostic mode where the builtin protection has kicked in (very likely a powersupply problem). How many blinks is the standby light doing? Due to the technical requirements to repair this TV, you would probably require the services of a qualified TV professional very familiar with Sony models. You can try a hard reset by unplugging the unit off from the mains for a couple of hours. If a no by then, we're back to the tech. Good luck and kind regards.

The television was fine then it turned off and the standby light is flashing and the timer light is on. I've unplugged it and turned it off and on, but to no avail.
I was cleaning around the television at the time and might have bumped a button on the front by accident. I'm not sure.
