When my calculator is on "print" mode, it says "error" in the top left corner, and wont let me type in any numbers or print anything. I tried to press the reset button, but all it did was nothing. While I was pressing the button the screen went blank but after I released the button, it went back to what it said before, and nothing changed. I also lost my instruction guide, please help! Thanks!

The message dimension error usually refers to instances where two lists do not have the same dimensions (number of elements) I checked and the calculator gives condition error. Check the type of function you are creating a table for. Choose the type y=
Look at the top left corner of the keypad. If you have a = sign marked on the f ace of the calculator (near a CALc or Solve key) you can enter the = by pressing [ALPHA] then the key next to which there is an = sign. If you do not have that second = sign, you cannot enter it. The FX-115ES and the FX-991ES do have that sign to allow the user to enter equations. In your calculator you only have three calculational modes: the general COMP mode, the STAT mode and the Table Mode. No equation mode. Sorry.
Hello, It may help to have the Brand and model of the calculator. But I suspect you pressed a Mode button, which gives you different configurations (modes of operations) for the calculator. If I guessed right you will have to enter a number between 0 and 3. If mode is not what you want, try a new number each time.

HI..if this is a printing calculator and the print mode is turned...if there is a problem with the printer and E for Error will appear. The ribbon or some paper could be jammed in the printer..a key could be stuck down..check your entire keyboard key for sticking. The calculator wont hurt itself and that is why the E is on. Examine it very carefully and look for something caught in it. If none of the above you might have to get a pro to look at it. Hope this helps you out.... Squipps
