Oil level in pump and motor OK? Spark plug not fouled? Has it sat for a while - carb dirty? Running (loaded) throttle rpm not high enough?

Have you tried servicing the motor. Fresh air filter, new fuel filter and a fresh spark plug? That will help narrow down what the problem could be.

What is an uploader

I think you mean an UN Loader this is a valve that redirects (bypasses) the pressureized water back into the intake when you release the trigger When it is not working the machine continues to build pressure and will bog down

hope this helps

I switch the pressure washer on motor starts pressure builds up motor stops. OK pull the trigger on the lance the moter starts sounds different water pressure low. Release trigger motor still runs.

It isnt very clear your explanation of the problem but what type washer do you have first? It sounds like you have a bad unloader or need a new variable nozzle tip. Can you explain in more clear detail. Thanks

Generac 6hp pressure washer starts and runs fine, no real leaks, but it never builds up pressure.

after making the water connections, be sure to hold the trigger open on the wand for a couple of minutes before starting. All the air must be removed from the system before it can create pressure.

My Generac pressure washer will work great for as long as I hold the trigger. If I release the trigger to move something or change positions and then pull the trigger again the pressure doesn't come...

Sounds like the unloader valve built-in to your system is sticky. Try lowering the pressure of the regulator to lowest setting then re-adjusting. This will place a different pressure /load on the valve. Also when you store your unit, displace the water in the pump with oil so that lubricant will prevent the unloader from sticking. If you continue to have problem, replace the unloader. Good luck

Pressure is fine when first started ,if trigger released no Psi

Your uplift injector valve in the water pump is sticking. You need to remove this part. Lube the top o-ring only with a water proof grease. Reinstall this part. You will be up and running again.

You need to use needle nose vise grip tool to easily remove the valve. You need to grind down the vise grip tool to fit the opening where the valve is installed.

To prevent this problem from reoccuring use a pump guard additive.
