OK I broke the parent remote am trying to get a RCA D770 universal remote to either change the menu or change the input on a SD-P50A5-K pioneer TV. I've tried all the codes I've tried all the codes I can find. At best i can change channels, volume, use PnP to limited degree, and open and move the cursor on the menu. Thats it. I cant select anything on the menu because the enter button turns on the PnP when menu isn't open and does nothing when the menu is open. What I'm trying to accomplish is to change the TV to the secondary antennae and I'm really ticked off right now cause this is the second "universal" remote that has pulled this (insert expletive of choice) on me. Anyone know how or even if I can fix this?

After unlock, you can use the universal remote control. Just follow the proceedings given below. One amoung them must unlock your RCA TV.
Most RCA TV sets use a four digit code to control the v-chip. The code reset is different depending on the model. Try each number until you find the one that works for you.

Hold down the MENU button on the front of the TV and the TV button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds. 4- Hold down GO BACK button on the remote and MENU button on the front of the TV at the same time for at least 4 seconds.
Hold down EJECT button on the front of the TV set and the MENU button on the remote at the same time for at least 4 seconds. Depending on the model, one of the methods should unlock the V-chip. Now, if desired, you can change the settings on the V-chip by going to the MENU and going to PARENTAL CONTROLS, or on some sets, going to MENU and then going to TV SETUP, then to V-CHIP SET. OK.
