my roadmate has a sound issue. It does not work without earphones... How can I make it so it works normally? I heard there is a program that we download as there is a bug in the system ... Is that true?

Hi, my rm300 just broke, I have the 3 disks which will fix most software issues. I will sell them at a fair price if anyone needs them- [email protected]

Where do i get the sound files?

I copied the .cfg file (1 kb) from a working 360 onto my pc and then uploaded it to the "silent" one. I double checked that all other files were present. It solved the problem. Just make sure your sd card is out when you plug it into your pc so the pc reads the roadmate's internal information - not the sd card.

I would plug in a headset to see if you had sound before opening case.If no sound is heard your sound files are most likely bad or missing. To see if they are missing remove SD card and attach 360 using usb cable to your PC.A screen will pop up but choose TAKE NO ACTION. Go to MY Computer and you will see a external device with a drive letter click on this. You will see all files listed on the internal memory of the 360.There should be 89.3 MB of total files.Do not change or remove any of these files these are running your 360 now.You can copy them to your HD for a backup.MY 360 was running but no sound, there was only
4.19 MB on the 360 it was missing a totalof 85.1 MB.
