I've had my EZ 2512 CEE for four years with no trouble. Now, all of the sudden, it won't dry. I just took a load of shirts out that were washed in cold water, yet they felt slightly warm, but still wet, when I took them out.
From what I've been able to find on the internet, I think this probably means that the condenser needs to be cleaned out, but I have no idea where it's located. I have removed the top cover, the back panel and the kick panel, just to be sure, and I didn't see anything that looked like it could be removed and cleaned. I haven't taken the entire machine apart yet--I was hoping it would be something easy to get to and do myself.
Can you tell me where the condenser and or the drain pump are located exactly?
Thanks.
When I removed the top cover, all I saw was a thing wrapped in copper wire, another thing that looked like a cement block and the top of the drum. A photo or drawing of what these parts look like would help greatly.
The drain hose is not kinked (the water drained out after the wash cycle with no problem). When I removed the back panel, I couldn't quite see in there far enough to find out where the other end of that hose is.

Check you drain hose is if it is kinked or obstructed an anyway, there is a filter element on the end of the pump it may be cloggedthe pump is self cleaning. the pump is located on the bottom. the condenser is on top center and the blower motor is in the center. also check the impeller at the end of the condenser motor..let me know if this helps

As everything in your dryer is working fine apart from it heating properly so the recommended repair will be thermal fuse/thermostat replacement. However, you can also test its continuity before replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
If you are still looking for a solution to this here it is:
In these machines if you try to change the setting of the washer knob without letting a cycle finish which is already set it may happen that the unit won't function properly and hence the unit needs to be reseted. There is a reset procedure for the same and let me know if you would like have the same.
If the door is not opening it is advisable to reset the unit first and then try opening the door which should work and also the door handle won't break then.
If you have already replaced the door handle on your machine it is fine or else you may want to order the same from appliancedesk.com
ChicagoRandy,
You may be loading the washer with too many items. 8 pounds (wet) is the max for an Equator EZ3613 CEE. Mine would drain, but then wouldn't spin, leaving the clothes soaking wet. Here's what worked for me:
I turned it OFF, unplugged it for a while, emptied it of all items, plugged it back in, turned the dial to RESET, turned it ON and watched the Mode light flash quickly for a while, then watched it for over a minute, flashing about once a second, to ensure it really had reset itself. Then, I turned it OFF, turned dial to Cotton 1, turned it ON, and it performed the cycle properly when empty. When this strategy worked, it told me I had put too many items in it for it to spin.

The blinks are the fault code on the unit you will have to watch them an count match them to the chart in the service manual
