Question about RCA P61830BL 61" Rear Projection Television

Projection TV - RCA P61830BL

My TV will turn on, but there is no video and the menus work fine. The audio also works. Any suggestions.

Hello, I have a Tv RCA P61830BL, I need a new convergence board but cannot find out where I can purchase one from. Can you help?

the IC is your problem..because it is not compatible with the system unit..try to find a secondhand IC with the same value...and try to used it..

Hi the green cross it cant move that the reference for red and blue adjustement ;just try to put the red and blue cross over the green pattern then quit/
if that doesnt work you probly have the stk-xxx ic
who control the color alignment ,are blow/
you will have to replaced and make the convergence
check if you have an auto adjustement for that most projection tv have one...

Hdmi and dvi

No sir, there is not such switch in menu to change input from S video to HDMI or something. Here is one suggestion, Use 3 RCA pins cable (Audio L/R & Video) to connect both unit and check/ remember TV input and same should be selected in TV menu.

Rear projection tv broke

try resoldering the vertical output IC. This is a common problem the tubes blank out but sound and on screen displays still work 90% of the time its the solder connections on the vertical IC that causes it.

Wha is the chassis number for your set? It should be located on the rear of your setnext to the model number it will be an ATC number.

A few problems come to mind. The high voltage block took a dump and opened up. The filiment supply from the HV sweep has cold solder connections on the Printed circuit board. Another problem is the most common of all could be a vertical sweep falure like the vertical output IC or the b+ going to the chip or maybe even a bad yolk connection on the solder side. Good luck
