TV shutdowned while watching and it wont power up again..

Hi, This is wiered, all of it sudden the TV goes blank and the red lite keeps blinking. Removed the power cable completely and tried after half hour and the same thing. Looked into trouble shoot guide and it says when the red light blinks then call Sony Service Center!!!. Help please....

Nope, its not a lamp issue. its thermal fuse issue.

I replaced the thermal fuse and my tv is back rocking again. :)

These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can vet an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. Do any of the green led lights in the set come on?---red one should be on all the time--blinking would indicate a problem in the power supply at the primary side (INPUT).

I have sony Bravia KLV -32V300A suddenly shut-off while I am watching power indicator went off and standby red light blinking 5 times then after 2 seconds off then red light blinks again 5 times and so...

AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning up screen slightly.

you can try these steps if this doesn't work I suggest replacing IC8002 on the power supply
Low HV Shutdown:
On the D Board.
Check IC8004/pin 7 should be 7.4v.
Check IC8006/pin 2 should be 2.5v if lower will trigger shutdown by causing pin 1 to turn on.
Check IC8006/pin 3 reference voltage 2.2v.
IC8006/pin 1 normally at 0v. If high turns D5007 ON which turns the latch circuit Q6532,
Q6530, and Q6527 ON and turns the AC relay RY6501 OFF.

NOTE: 6 blinks also can be Low B+ protection.

Unregulated 7.5 v from the power supply to 5v reg IC504 on the A Board. 5v to M Board Q2314
to CPU IC2300/pin 43. If 5v missing set will shutdown with 6 blinks

Bush 32" TV. desperate situation. T-T

The TV is in protection mode. An internal problem was detected and the set shutdown to prevent further damage. If the set is only 9 months old, it should still be under warranty. Call and request warranty service.

Power button Flashes

For the first one, please list the model number and count the blinks. Also, can you please post each problem separately. It will get too confusing trying to address 3 sets with different but similar problems.
