How do I take a video using this camera? - Olympus D-535 Zoom / C370 Zoom Digital Camera

Press the MODE button (on the top of the camera, marked green camera/video camera/SCREEN). Use up/down to select the video camera icon (the one below the green camera) and press OK. You're now in video mode. To start recording, press the shutter release button fully. To stop recording, press the shutter release button again.

DSC-W300 Sony digital still Camera is not supported for use as a Webcam. For video conference, use a dedicated Webcam or video camera that supports this function. You can use the MHS-PM1 AND MHS-CM1 Webbie HD MP4 Camera supports video conferencing.

To use the video camera: check the lower right portion of the camera. The last button there is the function mode. just move it right (notice the image of video there.) You can now start using the video camera.

1.check manual of digital camera that it have the webcam fuctionality.your camera didn't have its webcam software, use a third party web cam application SarmSoft WebCam.

2.Plug your digital camera's power adapter into the camera. Some won't function as a webcam unless they are plugged into A/C power.

3.Connect a video cable into your digital camera's video "out" port. Your camera likely came with a cable made for connecting it to a to a video source. Plug the other end of the video cable into your video card's video "in" port.

4.Set up your camera as close to your monitor as possible. This allows better face to face communication.

5.Use a separate microphone if your digital camera doesn't transmit sound.

Hey! I am not sure what camera you are using, but I know that usually camera videos are HD videos in MOD, AVCHD M2ts, etc formats. Therefore, if you wan to play your camera video on your PC, you need to turn these HD videos to common video fomart, if you are using windows media player, you can convert them to WMV or AVI format. I personally use this Wondershare HD Video Converter which helps me convert camera video into other videos for payback on PC or some other portable media players such iPod, iPhone etc. You can have free try of this HD Video Converter at it's official web.
