Same problem, but it's my left headset that doesn't work for me. I think it's a loose jack, but at this point, i'm not sure. I've had this mp3 player for about a year now.Same problem, but it's my left headset that doesn't work for me. I think it's a loose jack, but at this point, i'm not sure. This happened to me I did the pushing to the right thing for a while, it was messed up further, I suggest calling samsung but I am trying to fix it myself right now
In your case, if the one of the headphones of your device is not working, and you have already tried different earphones and verified that there is no problem with the earphones. Sorry to say this but your unit needs service. Call samsung and let them set a repair request for you. :(

Your plug-in is not functioning properly. It appears it has become loose over prolonged use and is dirty.
I suggest clean the plug-in by blowing air OR with a soft cotton wad slightly moistened with mild detergent ( Best is ear cleaning buds).
Also check the wiring connection in the audio jack as that also can be loose OR fix a new Audio Jack
test a different earphone on the mp3 and if the other one works fine then it means that the wire inside the headphones may have snapped.Hope this helps.
If you are talking about when you use the headphones, then try getting new headphones. This happened to me too, and once I replaced those it worked just fine. You shouldn't stick anything in there, because you could further damage it, and if you have a warrenty, then it wont be covered. Try the new headphones, if thats not it, then take it in to have it repaired, or get a new one. Good luck.
When I connect yp-k5 with computer they need a mtp device driver so how can I get this driver and where get from.
please help me I can't use without this driver
No, do NOT use ITunes... as itunes was developed initially for use with Apple IPod, itunes has been known to alter files, which can make some files incompatable with competitor devices (ie Microsoft).
Instead, transfer files from their native format (ie mp3, wma) directly onto your K5. In other words, use Media Studio to convert your CD's into mp3 (or WMA), or download ur internet files from their original MP3 format, before copying to your K5.
Your K5 relies on the headphones to receive FM signal (ie acts as antenna), so you need to wear your headphones when locking onto your preset stations.
