How do I restart canon sx130is lens error

This is a common error when there is a lens failure or the camera believes that there is something wrong with the lens. I would recommend that you bring it to a camera repair shop.

Get message Lens error, restart camera

Not much you can do. Switching off the camera and then on, is like a cod boot from a computer.
You could try to remove the battery for a few seconds, and then reinsert it. Then you should investigate why the lens stays out. Is it because of a mechanical problem, or came some dirt between the barrel, while the camera got wet? Try to remove any obstruction. feel if the lens can move by gently moving the barrel a little. If it goes. Don't apply force, because you could damage the mechanical or electrical parts in the lens barrel.
I hope it works. Don't forget: the battery should be charged fully.

Zoom error Fuji S1000fd

I have seen instances where people managed to get this problem fixed themselves. the zoom mechanism, it seems, is not all that complex. If you think you've got nothing to lose (there is a risk factor) just take it apart and have a look. Good luck!

Cd player reads error 04

The error 4 in most Sony stereos is an error that comes up when the laser pickup doesn't read the disc correctly. This happens most of the time because of a dirty lens in the laser pickup. If anyone smokes in the vehicle the smoke may be on the lens causing the error code. Try a wet type CD cleaning disc to see if it helps.

Camera got wet now it dosen't work

I thought DSC-W50 was shot after it got wet last week. It was only underwater a short time though. It wouldn't start, the lens wouldn't come out, I thought the screen might be shot. I unscrewed the sides and popped off the front, then put in the battery and it started up. Reassembled, it still had intermittent screen or lens problems (diagonal dark areas) and the E91:01 flash error. I had to go through the initiation process on the menu several times but it seems to be stablizing. I'm glad I didn't just pitch it because I like the viewfinder in this model.

My Tokina 12-24mm /f4.0 for Canon got a little wet. When attempting to take pictures I get a ERR 01 message in my canon. Got the same error when I attached the lens to a second canon.

One of the internal circuits on the lens got more than a little wet. How long did you let it dry before putting it on the camera (which applies voltage to the possibly still wet circuit and probably shorted it out) ?. It sounds like a trip to Tokina is in order, unless you want to start a career as a repairman yourself

This is probably THE most common failure among digital cameras.
There's a halfway chance of fixing it yourself, described here: http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/fixing-lens-error-on-digital-camera.html

Error 99 in body

Remove lens, CF card, and battery. Leave in a dry and slightly warm place for 24 hours. Clean lens contacts with a cloth or cue tip and eclipse/alcohol.
If the camera doesn't turn on after this, even without CF card and lens attached, then it needs to go to a Canon service centre. Don't tell them you got it wet, and maybe it will get repaired FOC.

HELLO, MY HUSBAND AND I BOUGHT A NIKON COOLPIX S2oo DIGITAL CAMERA IN MID DECEMBER FOR OUR DAUGHTER TROUBLE WITH CAMERA TODAY SAYING LENS ERROR. NOT SURE WHAT IT MEANS TURNED CAMERA OFF AND ON STILL SAYING...

Your lens is not responding as the cameras computer thinks it should, it may have got wet, banged, dirt, grit or sand may have got in and is jamming it, unfortunately this will mean the camera is in need of opening up for attention.

Best of luck
