Can you hear the drive spin? If you can, buy a cd cleaning kit and try. Sometime the laser len is dirty and the same message occur. Goodluck.

SOURCE: bypass parking brake wire

Boss Audio is the easiest in-dash DVD on the market to bypass; all you do is ground the ebrake wire. I recently installed 12 Boss Audio in-dash BV-7300's and did this to all of the decks problem solved. By the way I did this because they were in the back of limousines where the driver couldn't ever even see one of them while he was driving. I don't think there will be a problem, try it.

When i insert a dvd into boss bv7320 there is no picture on screen only the audio part of the dvd plays

if you trying to view the dvd while driving you have to bypass the secruity feature. all you have to do is connect the wire that goes to the Emergency Break to the Ground Wire On The DVD player. I Have This Player And Have Done This.

I need help my new BOSS BV9560B display Warinig please stop watch video player when I'm play DVD

It's because the pink wire (brake system) is not connected to anything. It is a safety feature to make sure that you are not watching the DVD while driving. I just installed my BV9990 today and had the same issue (before taking care of that pink wire).

Would not play anything

If this is happening to all the discs you insert then you are having a problem with the laser lens. If the lens is faulty then you wont have any success. Replace the unit or if you want to really invest in the repair then go ahead and do so but im personally not to crazy about boss car audio equipment, quality is poor and chances are that it will happen again. Good luck boss.... : )

The player plays the discs, but I can't get the sound.

See if you can get sound out of the am/fm stereo. if not, the audio output ic is bad and it's located on the big heatsink in the back of the unit. you will have to take the unit apart and unsolder it to remove it.

Play back

Hello I have the D1 and it can not play DVD's in the DVD Rom slot. It is only for use with the DVD Navigation Discs. To watch DVD's on the AVIC-D1 you need to get the Pioneer DVD Player or DVD Changer and connect it through the IP Bus and AV Bus to control it from the head unit. The other way to watch DVD's on the D1 is to buy any automotive DVD Player, for example Boss, Lanzar, etc. or use a PS2, PS3, or any other Video Game System that plays DVD's and connect it through the RCA AV Video and Audio inputs. I believe that the AVIC-D3 has the ability to play DVD's from the unit. It can also can play DVIX DVD's. Hope this helps.
