Demo Mode I bought this unit it was a demo. Now I don't know how to get it out of the demo mode. Thanks Victoria

Press 487596 on your controller and then press "select"

This should make it go into "normal mode"

1. Press SETTINGS/CLOCK until "DEMO MODE" is displayed.
2. The current setting will be displayed.
3. Press the "1" keypad to adjust the setting.
4. Press START or CANCEL to exit and display the time of day.

I got a hp touchsmart600 pc. It was a demo unit in a store. I can't get it out of demo mode to use the computer. How do I get rid of Demo mode to use computer?

Contact the store, I know some stores have the demos locked so that people can't mess with them.

My toshiba 36in crt tv's demo mode keeps turning it self on

Hi,
Since I do not have your tv model number so can't be specific, check Demo mode option in Menu and turn it off. Some tvs have selection like Store/ Display and Home mode, store or display mode is demo mode so set tv on home mode to turn off demo mode.
Let me know model number of your tv if you have additional question.

How to disable demo mode on JVC MX-c220

Make sure the unit is on. Press the FM Mode /Mute -Demo button (right next to the power) press it untill you get to either mono or auto (-for stereo). That will take the unit out of the demo mode. next turn the music jog dial (located just above the preset buttons) untill you get to which ever setting you choose. Hope that helps. ( I can't find the manual on line either- not even from JVC! )

Demo Mode JVC KD-G333 head unit

Hi guys, I had this problem and i just found a solution.

I was on FM mode when i tried this:

Hold down "sel" until the display says "demo"

Turn the volume knob and the display will toggle between "demo on" and "demo off"

I went back to CD mode and the blasted demos no longer appear!

JVC KD-G322 Demo mode

Hold down the "SEL" button, and use the CD track skip button to scroll to where the display says "DEMO," and use the volume knob to change the setting to "OFF." Push SEL again and you're good to go.

GE Microwave DEMO MODE

I just bought a condo with a GE Spacemaker Mod# JVM1860SD
that was stuck in demo mode. (This mod# has been replaced by the JVM1870*** series)

I called GE twice in two days, and finally got someone who had the solution (and it worked):

Unplug the unit for at least 30 seconds
Plug the unit back in DO NOT SET THE CLOCK
While the unit is still "booting up" and the display screen is lit with gibberish, HOLD THE POWER LEVEL AND THE ZERO BUTTON for at least 5 seconds.
After 5 seconds, the screen will display "demo mode off"

It messed me up at first because the power level and zero pads don't beep when the unit is booting up... but it worked.
- Again, this is for the GE Spacemaker 1860-1870 series models only - The women who gave me instructions said she had different demo mode unlock methods for the 1400, 3670, 2070 etc... so call GE if you have a different model.
