Dvd hookup How can I hook up a dvd player to this tv? I have followed the advice of radio-shack -they swear they are right - and it is still not working. I have used an adapter to connect the three wires from the dvd to the two portals on the tv. Now what? It is not working.

Type channel "00"

I had the same problem and got the adapter from radio shack, too. I was getting frustrated and just started pressing buttons, and then I found by accident that 00 puts it to the video input mode. hope that helps, albeit a bit late.

Hello. Do you tried regular composite connection with Yellow, White and Red wires. Put some disc in the DVD and hit the play button from the DVD. Now assure that the DVD is playing by the timeline indicator from the DVD led and search for AV button on TV (or remote control), also check the TV settings from the TV menu (about TV inputs) and if you see a picture on TV, then you will be ready.

How do i hook up my dvd recorder to my dvd player? where do i hook my cords to?

You need RCA cables to do this. These have red yellow and white cable ends. The yellow is for video the white is for the left speaker, red for the right speaker.Run the RCA cables from the output of you DVD player to the INPUT of your dvd recorder.Run another set of RCA cables from the output of your dvd recorder to the input of your TV.Most modern tv's have these inputs. These RCA cables can be purchased at Radio Shack or places like Walmarts.

How do i hook up my rca dvd to my samsung tv its hooked up right but i can'y figure out how to get the tv on the right channel for it to work

This DVD player only has audio and video outputs. You'll need to connect it through one of your TV's A/V inputs, then switch to that input to see the DVD signal.

If your TV doesn't have A/V inputs available, you'll need to connect the DVD player using an RF converter. This takes the audio and video signals from the DVD and produces a channel 3 or 4 output you tune in on your TV. Converters cost around $10 to $20 and are available at Radio Shack or retailers who sell TV's.

DVD-R120 hookup for recording

You will have to hook up your recorder directly to your TV or use as a stand alone recorder.
Other possibility is to buy a 2 way video switch. This will allow you to hook up two video machines to the same input jacks on the RCVR. You just swith between the two devices manually.
Radio Shack usually have these input swithches under $30.
