F3 error code means your washer has not drained. To fix the washing machine error code is simple and straight forward. Simply remove the drain pump filter and slide the filter out and clean the debris inside. The filter in most cases is on the lower bottom panel. Simple depress the tab and fold the access door down. The washer drain pump filter is a white handle twist the handle to remove the filter. You may also find an article of clothing trapped down where the filter is like socks or change etc. If you have any further questions message me back and please also remember when our chat has fully concluded to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to continue helping others in similar situations Thanks Rick
Welcome to FixYa.
The F3 error for an Asko washer indicates a problem with the pump or a blockage in the pump.
Remove the pump insert/filter and clean it and check inside the pump and hoses thoroughly.
Let me know what you find or if you need more help/direction.
Hello. You said that you checked the drain line for obstructions, but did you check the pump? I would remove the hoses from the pump and using a flashlight, look into the suction port on the pump. Check the pump for any obstructions (like the occasional stray sock) and check the pump impellers. Look for broken/missing blades and ensure that the impeller spins freely. If there are missing/broken blades or if you cannot get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective. You may have already done this, and if so I apologize. Anyway, hope this helped and best wishes.
Unplug the machine. Remove the filter, take a flashlight and get your head down to check if something has fallen deeper in filter and pump housing which block the pump turbine. Also, make sure to check if the outlet hose isn't clogged or jammed with something too.
