Do it yourself. There is no need for any repairs - you just have to put the chain back on wheel. Take a look on another chain in the clock and put the slipped chain back on wheel exactly in the same way as another chain. Use tweezers to reach the chain.

Hi, I bought a cuckoo clock from Black Forest area, Germany in the year 2006. Initially when I mounted it on the wall it was working. But once I unmounted the clock for house cleaning and when I remounted the same it was not working. I am not familiar with clock and know not what has gone wrong with the clock. Can someone suggest who can help me get the clock checked or repaired (if needed). Thanks for your assistance.
There can be very many reasons why the clock is not working and without personal inspection it is not possible to say what exactly is wrong with it. I suggest you type in your search bar CLOCK REPAIRS IN (your area name) and bring the clock to the clock repair shop for closer inspection.

The easiest way is to remove the larger link/hook from either end of the chain and then place the clock upside down, and open the back of the clock and then put the chain through the hole on the side that the weight hangs on. Then guide the chain onto the wheel with the large teeth, and then turn the clock on its side so the end of the chain will fall around the wheel and then with a screw driver carefully turn the wheel and then turn the clock right side up as you turn the wheel and the chain will follow around the wheel. Finally pull the chain through the other hole.
