What's the voltage on the batteries?  If the volts are too low the charger may not recharge the batteries.

Pronto m91

You are getting a motor error code. Check motor wiring and connection to the main control box. Motor may have gotten unplugged when changing the batteries.

How to recharge but I get a flashing red light on transformer in battery box. this is a Invacare Pronto M91 Electric Wheelchair

The red light on the transformer/Charger means the charger is bad. Sometimes it can also be battery harness wiring. Most often it is the charger that needs replaced.

How do I get my pronto m91 out of charging mode?

The M91 has an onboard charger. When unplugging the charger power cord from the wall outlet does not stop the chair from being in the charge mode, The charger has to be unplugged from the wheelchair wiring harness or main control module under the plastic body parts. The on-board chargers fail like this sometimes.

Is there fuses in the M91 Pronto Onboard charger

I had this exact same problem after having my M91 in the shop. The repair man said that the onboard charger was bad, so he sold me an offboard charger to charge through the arm. That didn't change anything. I finally took it apart myself and discovered that there was a cord leading from the onboard charger to the batteries that the repair person had left unplugged when he installed my new batteries.
What I'd thought was "fast draining" of the batteries was actually the batteries self-charging overnight (which they will do a little bit if you let them sit). Of course, this might not be your problem, but I'd say at least look at it as a possibility.

I have a Pronto M91. When I push the joy stick the lights turn off and the first two red lights blink. I check all the connections and the wheelchair will not move. I would be thankful for any help.

You have low batteries and need charging if you been charging and still get the red lights then the batteries need to be replaced and have the charger checked for correct output. If you have a voltmeter you can check the charger by plugging the on-board charger into the wall set the voltmeter to 200 volts dc and plug the leads into the two outter holes of the charger port located under the front of the joystick. with the charger pugged in you should be reading 27+volts if you aren't getting any reading or the reading is lower than 25 volts then replace the charger or get an offboard charger and try charging the batteries via the joystick charger port Hope this helps

One red light three green flash when turned on

Your chair has a motor problem. The code does not tell which side it is. Make sure both motors have the brakes in the drive position before turning on the chair. Also check that both motors are plugged into the main control module in the base of the chair.

Can't charge Pronto M91.

Hi Bob. Unfortunately in most cases this means that the batteries have gone so flat that they cannot be “revived”. The best thing to do is take the batteries to a local battery dealer and have them checked. You may need to replace them. Another possibility is that because the batteries are so flat, the charging circuit hit a wobbly trying to resuscitate them and popped a fuse button. A simple reset may help. Happy scooting. Change Batteries in Pronto M91 with swivel seat.

Turned out to be a "doh!" moment. Use the lever on the side of the seat to permit swivel. Unplug Controls connector. Lift seat off unit. Remove battery compartment cover by loosening 2 Philips-head screws on the Charger cover at the rear. Disconnect cable to Electronic Controller at front of front battery. Disconnect the Red and Black battery connectors, the ones that join the 2 batteries. Lift out batteries. Transfer battery connections to new batteries. Reverse the above process to reassemble.
Solved this without any help from outsiders, including FixYa, who wanted to charge me for the solution.
