Hello i have recently bought a tomtom one and are having all soughts of problems. The biggest problem is when you try to enter the address to the destination of the town and it just keeps entering the letter k, so when you type any other letters it keeps re-entering k and therefore not being able to enter the information. It is extremely frustrating. The other problem is the screen randomly goes hazy after you have entered the destination and it shows that you have good satelite signals. Can someone pleae give some advice. Even after resetting it continues the problem. Any information would be most grateful because this happened to my first one i bought and it eventually crashed with a big x in the middle of the screen so this is the second one. Has anyone else had these problems?
My Apple Mac OS X used to recognise my Tomtom one when connected by USB port but not anymore
Hi Dave "Has anyone else had these problems?" If it's any consolation I've just experienced a similar problem but the letter was "f" and not a "k". I couldn't get past this screen and had to switch it off and even then it sometimes remembered the fault. I took mine back because it was only 6 days old and asked for a full refund, which I received. I'm undecided what to do next, either buy a new one or wait till they settle down or try another manufacturer. Could there be a faulty batch out there?

Great I am glad someone else had the same issue. The problem is that they are very easy and effective to use. I thinking is it worth trying to find a different model but same brand of tomtom
I had the same hazy problem with the screen too. It happened when i knocked it or it dropped from the windscreen accidently. The only way I solved it was by turning it off for about an hour then it would come up fresh again but if you need to use is straight away there was nothing you could do. I couldn't find out any info for this so ended up getting a navman 40i which is working sweet so far
when i turn it on it just turn on for moment
