Hi,
Please go to the Dell website again. You should be looking for a LAN driver. Make sure that you are downloading drivers for Windows XP.
If that doesn't help visit broadcom website.
look there is a trick to rstore you machine but it is done under safe mode if your operating system is xp
i need to know the kind of operating system you are useing and i will tell you how so restor your machine step by step
Go into your BIO's at startup and set it to load from the CD-Rom only. Then drop the Vista disk in the CD-Rom and restart the computer. After it loads you will need to go back into the BIO's and set it back to where it was before you made this change.
There must be some disks with the PC.
Your internet provider should have supplied you with drivers when you bought your modem, else you wouldn't have got it to work with Vista either. If you install these drivers you should be able to get on the internet, and download the rest.
If you can't find the disk, please post what provider and modem you have, so I can find the drivers for you.
