"Locked Door" flashes after interrupting self clean...

Thanks Catriver, I think I'm doing something wrong. I pull the power cord and hold the cooking time and delay start pads together while my wife plugs the range back in. At this time, the screen says 72 (degrees) and "test". I press "8" and nothing changes, the screen still just says "test. I tried pressing and holding the "self clean" pad, but nothing happens (tried holding it for about 10 or 15 seconds). The whole time this is happening, it's still flashing "Locked Door". What am I doing wrong? ----- My original problem ----- My wife was cleaning the face of the range when she accidentally hit the self clean button. Not knowing what to do, she just reacted and opened the door. Initially, the locking mechanism had moved over into the lock position so we couldn't shut the door. I figured out how to raise the lid and get into the locking mechanism to move it back manually to the "open" position so we can at least shut the door now. However, it still flashes "Locked Door" and we can't do anything with the stove portion of it. I suspect there's a solenoid that still thinks the mechanism is in the locked position that needs to be reset. I've tried running it through the self clean cycle and recycling power on the unit. Turn it back on and on the control press and hold the cooking time and delay start pads together. While hold these keys, press the number 8 pad. The words test should appear in the display. Now press and hold the self clean pad and it should cycle the cam through the whole process.
