Usually it is the gears in the fuser asm. One of them is cracked or imbedded with toner and grease. Open the right cover and remove the two screws holding the fuser in place. First remove the back cover and unplug the fuser cables.

If it is the main fuser gear broken, you can order a new one from sharp or me for about 12 dollars. A new fuser will cost about 129.00

I have a epson artisan 800 I'm tring to fax from the automatic feeder but it keeps making a grinding sound and then it says paper jam but paper never even went through

I took apart my artison 800 with 'paper jam' error and grinding noise. Sadly enough, it is the plastic gear attached to the stepper motor which is slipping and making the grinding noise. I tried to glue it and it worked once or twice and failed again. It is a design flaw and Epson should repair this for free if they are honest about this problem. Ir is not a user-caused problem.

C0070 still appears

the toner housing sounds like its been turned by hand when the toner has been replaced, it is possible that the drive gears in the unit have been stripped(worst) or could be that the rotation locking mechanism has been dislodged and just needs repositioning

Delet code

It's an calibration error caused in the optics section. Make sure there is nothing on the scanner glass but the cover itself. Turn the power off, wait 30 seconds and turn the power back on again.
