Make sure that you are using the correct AC adapter and that you getting the voltage out that the label says. You need a voltmeter to check this. Also lightly pull the power cord in different directions on the back of your Pioneer and try to power it up. If you do get it to power up by doing that you have a bad plug or jack. Since it is new the plug and jack are likely fine but if someone pulled too hard on the cord look there. Otherwise it will need to be sent in for (hopefully) warranty repair.

It can be many things, most of all, the amplifier, Before all that, are you sure you have no headphones plugged in, and all the switches in the correct position?

Power supply issue for pioneer x-smc3-k

Please visit the Pioneer website where you can buy a new power supply. As to what pin is positive or negative, look on the back of the case where the power supply plugs in. It's imprinted right on the case. For more information, or should you have any further questions, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

Pioneer VSX-519V Multi-channel receiver won't turn on.

You could have blown the fuse in the unit, or worse still blown the output device(s) in the power amp.

Pioneer VSX-D412 directv remote code

I also have the VSX D412 and DirectTV. My DirectTV remote controls the D412 fine, but I did have the same problem you're experiecing with a Sylvania flat screen that the remote wouldn't operate. I corrected my problem by turning the TV off, then back on using the TV's remote, then telling the DirectTV system that I didn't know the model number and let the system search for the code. Hope this helps.
