Question about Gaggia Titanium Espresso Machine

Display not working-Hard to read

I love my machine, but lately the display has been hard to read. It seems that the display fades as if the contrast was decreased. The problem is intermittent, but sometimes I can not read the display at all. The display itself is an integrated circuit that can be replaced by plugging in a new one. Does anyone know where I can get this part?

Psr-s500; no display at all but everything else is working properly.

Read your manual about a contrast control for the display. At one end of the range of control the display is almost invisible. Sometimes there is a little shaft/knob on the back, other times it is a menu item and yes, it is hard to see the display to adjust the display... just go through the procedure blindly to see if it comes back. Also illuminate the display if dark with a flashlight and see if there are display characters there but just lacking a backlight. A backlight failure could be the problem.

Lcd display is what seem to be to bright hard to read black info .or the black symbols are very light hard to read with bright orange lighted display thanks Mark

You don't say what device this is on, HOWEVER most thngs have a "contrast" control that will adjust the visibility.

Sometimes they call this a viewing angle control and sometimes it is a small shaft from the back of a unit, OTHER times it is a setting available through a menu... if you can read the display enough to find it...

Numbers are too light ery hard to see

Try increasing the contrast. Press [2nd], and the [up] cursor. [2nd], [down] lowers the contrast.

If you set the contrast to maximum, and it is still too light to read, then you most likely have either weak batteries, or a problem with your display. Good luck.

Alesissr 18 drum machine lcd does not display

Check if there is a contrast setting... Unfortunately, sometimes the setting can;t be viewed when contrast is too low. Read your manual and find how to get into that mode if it exists and turn it up.

Display on my uniden is very faded and hard to read

The battery has a 90 day warranty, but first try resetting the phone by disconnecting the battery, press and hold * and # key while reconnecting battery. Must have receipt for warranty replacement.
