Try hooking the xbox up to another tv to see if you get color. If you do it isn't your xbox. If you dont then it's your video cables going bad.

If you are using the Red/Yellow/White cable, that's composite cable, but if you're using the one that's Red/Yellow/White/Blue/Green, that's called component. So basically, you set your TV's input to the corresponding color match. 5 colors: Component, 3 colors: Composite.
Hi, these are reasons or problems that can affect ps2 color.
Its the model games your downloading. the unloaded didn't upload it right. The problem would have to be your PS2. When you modded it, the PS2 must have had something changed in it. That thing that you changed may not allow it to read the color on certain PS2 games. You either have to buy a new PS2, or figure out what you did wrong when you modded it.
its something with the chip u used... i did the same thing and replaced it and im working fine now... u should think about getting magic swap... requires no modding to play station and i hear from people that it works well
The thing in the back that hooks up to the back of the tv or cable connection needs to be changed
This may sound stupid and completely obvious, but mine occasionally play without color as well. Try jiggling the RGB cable from the back of the console.
because its the way they made them the only difference is the type of film they use other tha that game play is still the same
go to game stop or a game shop 4 them to fix or it might be that your psp had been dropped or something that happened to it .
I have noticed my 360 shows blacks as purples now on the computer monitor I have it hooked up to through the HDMI cable and I have the elite system. I have yet to hook it up to my tv and so far the only game I really can it see it on is Frontlines: Fuel of war
