I need to print on 5 x7

Even though I have the printer set up to fit the 5 x7 sheets, if keeps printing like the page is 8.5 x 11. Therefore the sheet comes out with only half the page printed on it in the far right side. I have checked the page set-up and it is set for custom sized piece of paper 5 x 7. What am I doing wrong?

Go into the print settings and change the size of the document there. The printer may be set to 5x7 but the document you are printing isn't.

SOURCE: Paper completely wrinkled

I have two HP LaserJet 1300n printers and like all printers after use (or misuse) they will need PM or repair. The problem with the paper wrinkling is easy. If you have worked on printers then you can make the repair for about $8 - $20 and a couple hours. You can find the service manual at HP's website or online. It is typically a roller or the fuser film is torn. Disassemble the printer/fuser in accordance with the service manual or break out pic, clean, replace part and reassemble. For those who do not want to DIY then you can buy the entire fuser assembly on multiple sites anywhere for refurb w/core exchange to new for $70 - $150. The printers are good printers but like all mechanical devices, they will fail...it's just when and how.

SOURCE: laserjet 3015 is printing multiple pages on one sheet

exists special function in driver of the printer which quantifies pages of the document on one signet sheet. Sounds like "Multiple printing" you can manipulate or disactivate this function.

SOURCE: Problem Printing Sheet Paper with the Epson 9800

On the machines control panel set to sheet fed (pressing the left button will change from Sheet, roll and roll with cut). In the print settings select your paper profile. On the page setup choose sheet. In the pull down menu you should only have basic paper sizes, no custom size. choose 20x30 and try again.

Why does my LaserJet 1022 print one page, pull in a second page and third page even though the document is only one page long? It just started doing this a week ago.

Not sure about your printer but I had a printer that did this regularly and it took me a while to work out why.

My printer could be set to print both sides of the paper and as at the time I was writing a series of long letters, I was printing both sides of the paper.
The trouble began when I printed only one side of a sheet and forgetting it was set for double sides I took the sheet out when it had printed what I needed but before it had completed it's full cycle and that put it in a really bad mood so thereafter it would throw a couple of blank sheets at me whenever I wanted to print.

It was a brilliant printer but temperamental...

It didn't like being interrupted and even using the pause printing or the cancel command would really upset it. Switching off and on again did nothing and I had to leave it switched off for a couple of days before it would behave normally again

Why printer 4515 this error MANUALLY FEED OUTPUT STACK for duplex pritnting

HP P4515n is not a duplex printer by default. It is a network printer. ('n' suggests it is a network printer. Duplex printers have 'd' in the model number).
If you want to print both sides, manually feed sheet by sheet. Or else you can do the following:
If you are using, say MS Word, print only the odd pages (Print the normal way. No need to manually feed paper). Then arrange the printed papers in the proper order and keep the printed side as back side. Insert the set of papers in the printer and print only the even pages.
First print a document of about 6 pages to get the hang of it.

Every time I change a cartridge in my HPC4280 printer, a window pops up on my monitor and says I need to do an alignment. Fine, but even though I tell it I already have an alignment sheet, it prints...

I believe that you are not completing the alignment process.

Let me explain the alignment process..

1- Remove the usb cable from printer and computer if connected through usb cable.

2- Turn off the printer, wait for 30 seconds, turn on the printer

3- It will print an alignment page

4- Place this page on scanner glass of printer from right hand corner

5- Press OK or SCAN button on printer

6- This will complete the alignment process.

It will not print an alignment page again and again.

Printed out a inkjet magnet sheet now won't anything else! Help!

OK Christina, did the whole magnet page come out without any missing tear outs or pieces? You probably have a stuck piece of sticky paper in your feed or rollers. Look in your manual for clearing paper jams and examine your rollers while your at it from stray pieces of paper.

Kyocera Mita FS-1000+ paper slip single page? 5 pages print ok

This is a known problem.
Kyocera pretends to produce very silent printers. Therefore certain sheet metal parts inside the printer have a small piece of sponge rubber at their endings.
Unfortunately over the years this sponge rubber gets sticky. The corresponding lever, that is covered at its end with sponge rubber, sticks too long to its initial position. This is the reason why a certain lever is moved too late by the electromagnet into the position where a certain pulley is released.

As a result printing and paper movement are no longer coordinated and the printout is too low on the sheet.

Solution: Get rid of the sponge rubber, clean the lever very well in order to avoid it from sticking in its initial position. As a result you will here a much harder metallic noise when the lever moves, but the printout should be o.k.

Printer is printing twopages per sheet ( HP 6310)

The HP All-In-One printers have a PREFERENCES/PROPERTIES option called "Pages Per Sheet" that controls this behavior. If it was changed by someone, you can set the default by right-clicking on the printer from the PRINTERS window and selecting PROPERTIES. Then click on PRINTING PROPERTIES from the GENERAL tab and set "Pages Per Sheet" to 1.

If this helps, I would appreciate the feedback.

Thanks!
