I think I got my phone wet, everything works fine, but when i try to make a call the call goes through but the speaker button does not show when the call is active and i cannot hear the caller nor can they hear me.
First check and adjust call volume. It should set be optimal and secondly during a call adjust the microphone volume. If this is ok and the problem exsist then the microphone, speaker or some other hardware need to be replaced. Contact local hardware expert.

Thanks for the help. well i did the whole volume thing but it didn't work thr volume just went up and down. I can hear all ring tones, but cannot hear real player music and I still cannot hear the caller or they cannot hear me
Hi I am facing the same problem,
speaker phone selection is gone now and no sound comes out of the phone turning it on or off or when a call is received. This just happened yesterday after charging and syncing my phone with my laptop.
The earbud is working so I can receive and call out. Without the earbud callers can still hear me, but I cannot hear them.
I have tried adjusting the volume while on and off a call, mute button back and forth; no luck.
Weird, don't know what happened. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
i cannot hear the caller and even i'm the caller i cannot hear them
can not hear any call made or received if i make a call and hold down the speaker button until the call goes active the i can hear the other party on speaker but when i switch back i can not hear trhe other party and when i am speaker the party on the other end can barley hear me.I have notice that when i plug my phone in to the ac charger it will sometimes give me an audio chime that it is charging and then i can use the phone with no problems, but when it does notgive the audio signal it will not work.
I have the same issue on my 700p. I have already soft reset, adjusted mic and volume. Same issue, can not hear anything or music. Strange thing is that my speaker phone icon is no longer on the screen. Any other suggestions?
