Remove the batteries, unload the memory by pressing the ON button, wait 10 seconds, and reinsert all batteries---this should clear your CMOS memory in the camera to original factory default settings.

I have changed the settings somehow on my camera and don't know how to get it back to it's original setting, the quality of my photo's seem quite ***** like and very bright.. anyone know how to change it...

Hi,

Press the MENU button to bring up the Record mode Menu. You can use this shortcut menu to quickly change image resolution, reset all settings to factor defaults, enter Panorama mode, enable Picture+Sounds, enable Silent mode, change the scene mode (when set to the SCN position on the mode dial) as well as enter the Setup menu.

Hope this helps.

Camera no flash eventhough set to manual flash

Hi,

First thing to do is to reset the unit, either hard reset or soft reset will do this will not erased any saved picture on your camera, but better to do a backup for incidents of accidental erasing it. This will reset the camera settings into factory default.

Hope this helps

Let me know.

Camera over-exposes all pics, and the =/- button does not work.

hi

the Exposure button will generally be disabled in auto mode

try changing it to 'P' (Program) mode and then change the exposure by pressing the +/- button and then you would generally see a scale on the LCD now press the left button to decrease the exposure

better more is to reset the camera to the default settings this would set the aperture, shutter, Exposure, LCD brightness and otehr settings to defaults and this would save from any unwanted changes than required

cheers
pls rate if it was any help

My cam is green.

Hi, You have to reset the camera settings. In your Camera Preferences, switch between setting of Low light, AE, Outdoors, etc., Apply and choose what setting is to your preference, Apply again and OK. I found that setting the Camera's Options/Preferences while using Yahoo Messenger sets the camera to my desired setting (no longer greenish). However, it reverts back once I rebooted. Hope this be of help/idea. Post back how things are or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.
