How do I "Prime the Water Supply System" refereed to in use and care guide that came with my new Kenmore French Door Bottom Freezer, #253.70413411. Cannot find instructions in the manual only reference to...

Assuming you followed the water line installation directions and you have water available to your new refrigerator/freezer here is the rest of the "priming" info you requested. (basically it tells you how to run a bunch of water through the system by filling cups or glasses to remove any debris and/or air...

Automatic Ice & Water Dispenser
Priming the Water Supply System
1. Begin filling the tank by pressing and holding a drinking glass against the water dispenser paddle. 2. Keep the glass in this position until water comes out of the dispenser. It may take about 1½ minutes. 3. Continue dispensing water for about three minutes to flush the system and plumbing connections of any impurities (stopping to empty the glass as necessary).
Ice Maker Operation & Care After the refrigerator is installed properly and has cooled for several hours, the ice maker can produce ice within 24 hours. The ice maker will fill the ice bin from the rear. You must dispense some ice to force the ice forward in the bin. This will allow the bin to fill completely.
Turning the Fresh Food Ice Maker On and Off Ice production is controlled by the ice maker's On/Off icon on the control panel. Press and hold the "Ice Off" icon for three seconds to turn the ice maker "ON" or "OFF". The ice maker is turned off when the LED above the "Ice Off" icon is illuminated.
Using the Ice Maker after Installation Before making ice for the first time, be sure to prime the water supply system. Air in new plumbing lines can result in two or three empty ice maker cycles. Furthermore, if the system is not flushed, the first ice cubes may be discolored or have an odd flavor.
CAUTION
For proper dispenser operation, recommended water supply pressure should fall between 30 psi and 100 psi. Excessive pressure may cause water filter to malfunction.
NOTE The water dispenser has a built-in device that shuts off the water flow after three minutes of continuous use. To reset this shutoff device, simply release the dispenser paddle.
IMPORTANT On occasion, unusually small ice cubes may be noticed in the bucket or in dispensed ice. This could occur in normal operation of the ice maker. If you start seeing these more frequently, it may be an indication of low water pressure or the water filter needs to be replaced. As the water filter nears the end of its useful life and becomes clogged with particles, less water is delivered to the ice maker during each cycle. Remember, if it's been six months or longer since you last changed your water filter, replace the water filter with a new one. Poor quality household water may require the filter to be changed more frequently.
IMPORTANT Your ice maker is turned on at the factory so it can work as soon as you install your refrigerator. If you cannot connect a water supply, set the ice maker's On/Off icon to Off and turn off the water supply valve; otherwise, the ice maker's fill valve may make a loud chattering noise when it attempts to operate without water.
Hope this helps. Randy

Weil-McLain model cg-3-spdn, the psi is maxed and when the system is on, water drips out of the overflow. How do I get the psi down?

The heating system should have an automatic fill valve that limits water pressure to 12 PSI or so. Filling with water at either full street or well pump pressure can cause the relief valve to open. Many times after opening, the relief valve will not re-seat properly resulting in a steady drip. You may need to replace the valve if it will not stop leaking.

The radiators at high points on the loop should have valves that may be operated to let air out while the system fills via the automatic fill. You can read more about this here:

If you lack these valves. it can be done via this method:

I get a 2001 nissan frontier the problem s the water s Ben overfill to the reservoir I always fill in water into the radiator that's the problem of my truck

reservoirs are just that reservoirs. Once the radiator has been filled to the radiator cap and the cap is operational the heated expanded water will flow out to the reservoir . When the engine cools down the resultant low pressure in the radiator sucks open a valve in the radiator cap and sucks water back into the radiator the . If you have to always fill the radiator and it is blowing water out into the reservoir but not sucking it back then I would have the cap tested for operation or check for a leak in the cooling system or hose from the radiator to the reservoir.

Ravenheat 80/20 boiler. the boiler looses water pressure but only when working in central heating mode. Boiler holds pressure indefinitely if central heating is not used, hot water can be drawn without a...

Hi, your boilers pressure should be holding 1.5 bar with the relief set about 3. If the pressure is below this the flow switch will cause the boiler to stop as theirs not enough pressure to operate. Another thing, does your boiler have an auto fill system or do you need to plug a hose in to fill it? If its an auto fill system and you lose pressure you could have a leak.

Anything special i need to know when changing my anti-freeze. this is my first time, trying to save money. someone said something about getting the air out? what does that mean?

drain the coolant, connect or close all hoses and drain plugs, start motor and fill radiator with a 50/50 mix of water and anti-freeze, leave engine running, when motor gets hot the thermostat will open allowing the coolant to flow through the motor, in change the anti-freeze will get lower in the radiator thus you continue to fill untill full and the radiator will not except more coolant, ( this is how you get the air out) replace radiator cap and fill reservoir to cold level and your done. Recheck your coolant reservoir after you have driven the vehicle a bit and fill if necessary, do not fill to top, only fill to cool mark. the reservoir is not under pressure so you can fill at any time motor hot or cold

Fill system....water portion (error message)

It means that you need to fill up the system, inside the machine. Push the Water portion button, then it should flow water from the watertube. If you`re having trouble with this, change the water in the tank with luke warm water, this usually solves the problem after a few attempts.

If nothing happens and no water comes out, the solenoid valve is defective and must be changed.

Electronic sensor valve with four prong handle

If the system is operating correctly you should see a yellow sensor light when the water is low and a green filling light when the water is filling. If the filling light is red or flashing the system has timed out. Turn it off, then on again to reset the time limit.
