sounds like the membrane under the keypad is faulty, and it plays a major part in the cell, as it powers the screen, speaker and keypad. just see ur local motorola accredited service centre, and make sure they use genuine parts
sir is it blinks with white screen only or blinks with white screen then shut down? -if the phone can receive/send text and mms messages while the incoming and outgoing calls become shut down,i think you need to replace the battery because it is weak.use only original battery. -and if it is blink with white screen only try to reset all settings or reformat your phone,if not work hardware problem go to repair shop.
buy a new phone and try real hard nt to drop it the a920 tends to pack up when dropped as it happened to my last a920 and even telecom went to repair it but it was going to cost more than the price of a replacement a920
Before you open it and look inside it check to see if the magnetic switch is stuck. Check it with a kitchen magnet to the upper righthand corner of the keypad. There is a magnet in the lower righthand corner to activate it. Do some of the function work when it is closed? If they do then it is not the cable but the switch. Does the outside screen look the same as if it is closed then it is this switch? Could be a bad one, something stuck in there, or it could be stuck.
