One day I went to turn the computer on and it wouldn't turn on. The night before, I shut it down and it was fine. Now....when I looked, the ac adapter's green button blinks repeatedly, I believe it's supposed to stay on...? And my computer won't turn on. What should I do? Is the computer dead?
Alright, do you hear anything such as the Fan turning on or any humming sound? Have you attempted upgrading your BIOS 's Firmware? Or Altered the Hardware on the laptop. Your bios may have been bricked, your hopeless then, until you bring it to a certified technician(like me) to help you replace the BIOS chip or the Entire Motherboard. Attempt plugging in your laptop to a external monitor and try booting it up and see if you can see anything. There may have been a power spike when you left the laptop connected to your laptop, therefore frying your laptop, which then your laptop is useless.
