Question about Kenmore 3.8 cu. ft. HE3 Front Load Washer
My daughter just moved from California to Missouri and found out the plugs were different here, so she had to buy a plug converter and is having problems with setting it up. She says there are four wires on her dryer (one that's green and appears to be the ground wire). The converter that the local Sears sold her only has three and is missing the green one. No matter how she wires it, the dryer won't work. Can you help?
If she went from a 4 prong cord to 3 prong cord the only difference is a extra green ground wire... black and red to the out side screws and the white in the middle... not sure what your calling a converter... unless the changeing of the cord.. 4 prong are mostly in trailers here in florida

Hi,
There can be many reasons why your dryer will not start or turn...
The most common causes are the belt breaking or jumping off, or the motor going bad...
Here are a couple of tips that I wrote will help you to figure out why your dryer will not run...
