Question about Fujitsu Siemens CELSIUS Notebook
I Read somewhere on Internet that, it is possible to Repair Displays with Stripes on it. What do you know about that?
Hi, Yes it is possible. On some Fujitsu/Siemens units that I've worked on display problems could be caused by: 1. the backlight or its inverter; 2. the video card; and/or 3. the LCD display panel itself. Based on your post/description (stripes), I will rule out the backlight. The next bet (though unlike but a possibility) would be the video card which is underneath a covering/lid on the leftmost near the top on an inverted unit (bottom side up). It is normally plugged into a mini PCI slot with 2 clips/lock at both sides. You can try removing, clean the little gold terminals at the bottom and reinsert. If this does not solve the problem, the most likely will be the panel display itself. Original manufacturer's part - guesstimate about 500Euros. Some firms offer swap for less than 100 Euro, still others offer better glossy replacement for under 400 Euro. One such firm is http://www.screentekinc.com. They also have a step by step guide on do-it-yourself repair at http://www.screentekinc.com/lcd-removal-instructions.shtml Hope this be of some help/idea to you. Post back should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.

Your cable connected to your motherboard on your laptop is loose. This will void your warranty, unscrew the screws around the LCD Monitor, stickers may be covering them, Remove Monitor, then, remove and attach the cable connecting to the lower part of your laptop.
