My 1320 will usually print my document (MS Word) just fine, then multiple HP test pages will come out. Sometimes it prints fine without test pages. Other times it will print my document followed by 5 or 6 HP test pages. Sometimes the test pages will come between the document I asked to print. The printer is connected locally with a usb cable. I have tired to replace the drivers, but that has not helped.

First, you need to try update the latest microsoft office patch file from microsoft or you can open the MS Word, go to "HELP" menu select the update MS Word or related. Try the latest patch file first. You also can try windows update and select custom update, see their list have this problem solution or not. Second, you need to go to HP website download latest driver for LJ1020 and suitable use on Vista. Lastly, if still not solve the problem, you need this problem/issue to microsoft, ask their solutions. Kent
SOURCE: scanning...
What do you mean scan? Is it from the printer to the computer? Or just plain copy? When you want to scan to the computer, you need a software that can scan multiple pages. HP's document feeder can copy and fax multiple pages, so if the software supports multiple pages scanning, then I'm sure it can.

1. Check that you are using the latest print driver - from kyocera website.
2. If the issue is when you print pdf files then make sure you set the printer in KPDL Auto mode - check the print driver settings about this and the printer menu.
3.You may check if you have the latest firmware installed within the printer - print a service status page (Menu->Others->Service).

Be kind m'53. Maybe you can scan to a folder, then use print setup to compile all the data on one page, if it's not much data. You'll have to do all this with the computer, don't expect the scanner to do that. There is always lots of software out there to do this kind of stuff.
